How It Works
Once a year (with a goal of doing this quarterly), we will select one deserving organization, business, or community group to receive a free professional drone photo and video package. This footage can be used for promotional materials, fundraising campaigns, social media, or simply to showcase their impact.
Who Can Apply?
We’re looking for local heroes—organizations and businesses that make a difference in Sterling, IL, and the surrounding areas. This includes:
✅ Non-profits & Charities (Churches, food banks, animal shelters, community centers)
✅ Schools & Educational Programs (Environmental projects, student-led initiatives)
✅ Small Local Businesses that serve the community and could benefit from professional visuals
✅ Public Parks & Environmental Efforts needing aerial views for conservation and awareness
✅ Volunteer Groups & Fundraising Events

Growing up on a small farm in northwest Illinois, Brian learned the values of hard work, integrity, and serving others—principles that continue to guide him today. His faith plays a big role in how he approaches life and business, always striving to work with honesty, excellence, and a heart for helping others.
A graduate of Full Sail University, Brian developed a wide range of creative and technical skills, from web and graphic design to videography. Over the years, he’s worked with both large organizations and small businesses, enjoying the process of finding real solutions that help them grow and succeed.
With over 20 years of experience in project and account management, web design and development, marketing, SEO, and print production, Brian brings a well-rounded approach to Busy Bee Drone Company.
When he's not flying drones, you’ll find Brian spending time with his wife and three kids, enjoying the outdoors through hunting and gardening, or tending to his bees as a beginner beekeeper (or bee whisperer, as he likes to call it).
