Yes! Busy Bee Drone Company is FAA Part 107 certified, which means we are legally authorized to operate drones for commercial purposes. We are also fully insured to ensure safety and peace of mind for our clients.

We work with a variety of clients, including real estate agents, commercial property managers, businesses, landscapers, construction companies, and anyone in need of high-quality aerial photography and videography.

In the future, we will be expanding our services to inspections (roofs, solar farms, towers, farms/crops, etc.) and surveying.

We are based in Sterling, IL, and provide services within a 100-mile radius at no extra charge.

Most drone projects are completed within 48 hours, including light editing. Larger video projects or special requests may take longer, but we’ll provide an estimated timeline upfront.

Our STANDARD PACKAGES include high-resolution aerial photos and/or 4K video, basic editing, and fast turnaround. We also offer additional services like custom editing, branding, and video overlays upon request.

For best results:

• Make sure the property or area is clean and staged.
• Let us know any specific shots or angles you want.
• Ensure access to the site is available.
• Be aware of any local restrictions that may affect the shoot.
• If you will not be present on location the day of the shoot, communicate to appropriate parties (ex. a Realtor letting a homeowner know of our arrival)

Not everywhere—some locations require FAA approval, and certain areas (near airports, government buildings, or restricted airspace) may be off-limits. However, we handle all the necessary airspace authorizations to ensure legal compliance.

Yes! We provide light editing (color correction, exposure adjustments, cropping, etc.) at no extra charge. Advanced editing, such as adding graphics, text, or music, is available as an add-on service.

We cannot fly in heavy rain, strong winds, or low visibility conditions for safety reasons. If bad weather is expected, we’ll work with you to reschedule at no extra charge.

Yes! We can fly indoors in large, open spaces if conditions allow. We can also conduct night flights, but additional FAA approvals and lighting requirements may be necessary.

Aerial photography provides a unique perspective that makes listings stand out. It highlights property features, land size, and surroundings, making it easier for potential buyers to visualize the space.

Before answering, it’s important to clarify the differences between mapping and surveying.

While our services are great for marketing and site progress, if you’re looking for 2D orthomosaic maps, 3D models, and elevation models, we have not yet invested in the additional software necessary to create these, but plan to in the future. 

Absolutely! We provide dynamic aerial footage for events, marketing campaigns, and promotional videos that give your business or project a professional edge.

Of course! We welcome shot lists or special requests to ensure we capture exactly what you need.

We typically provide fully edited images and videos, but if you prefer raw footage, let us know, and we’ll include it in your package.

Yes! We offer custom editing services, including branding overlays, text, and background music, to create engaging marketing content.
